Custom Sliding Patio Door Conversion

Challenge

This project provided interesting challenges because the customer wanted a particular type of door that was shown in the product brochure. When Visionaire Windows tried to get that particular product, the manufacturer informed us that it was a misprint and that it was not available. We do not like to not be able to get what the customer saw and wanted, so we went back to the manufacturer to come up with something that the customer would be happy with.

Solution

We were able to get high-level approval for the manufacturer to make a custom sized two-panel sliding patio door, which is what the customer originally wanted. When we were finally able to get the door installed and finished, the customer was happy with the results and the fact that we stuck with it and were able to resolve the issue.
