Drafts and Increased Energy Bills

Have you ever noticed drafts coming in around your windows during the winter months? Drafts are a sure sign your windows are not doing their job. Single Pane Windows

Single-pane windows do not have a sealed layer of argon or krypton gas to help defuse the transfer of temperatures. Additionally, single-pane windows do not have a layer of Low-E. Low-E helps reduce the energy coming and leaving the house.

Moisture Between the Panes

Moisture between the panes is a sure sign of a seal failure. Once the seal is gone, argon or krypton gas that was once present has escaped and it no longer provides that layer of protection. You will be more likely to feel the hot or cold air transferring through the glass of your window.
